July 29, 2017 - Drinking quite nice right now. it definitely has age but is holding up well. The primary fruit is on the way down and the tertiary flavors are harmonious and balanced. Frankly, this was a surprise to me how nice this wine was. From magnum.

July 19, 2016 - I would disagree with the drinking window listed on this wine, This is drinking superb currently. dark red color, no haze noted, blackberries, black cherries, chocolate. Full body, medium to long finish. spectacular wine.

December 12, 2014 - From Magnum. Still showing real presence. Crushed herbs with dried plum and earthy character. Classy juice.

March 26, 2014 - Surprisingly delicious. Very fresh, fruit forward and ripe, not on the decline at all. This bottle reminds me why Pahlmeyer merlot was so desirable and highly rated back in the days. There's mocha, toffee and black raspberry in a balanced wine with a distinctive but not excessive taste of oak. I haven't been drinking these wines for a while, and now I have an incentive to do so. CellarTracker says the current auction price is less than $40. If this wine can be purchased at that price (or less), it would be one of the best QPR wines available. Drink up and enjoy!
