September 2, 2023 - Dark ruby color with medium legs. Oak, red cassis and berry on the nose. Strawberry jam, blueberry and pepper on the palate. Medium leathery finish with a bit of heat.

January 20, 2022 - This is one of the few Frogs Leap bottles I have completely disliked. It felt like we were drinking 2 buck chuck - just way overly jammy and fruity and lost all sense of complexity. Very sweet and hard to enjoy

November 1, 2021 - I had this blind and while i usually enjoy it i found it a bit heavy on the oak/vanilla compared to the Zins from Fritz and Magnolia Hill tested on the same occasion.
Not overly jammy but a decent Zin while there are better ones at this pricepoint. 89P
