February 2, 2024 - JD Friday Wine Group - GA Host (Dinner) (City Club FW - Oak Bar): Tasted blind - on the nose, strong melon, grassy, almost cat pee at first - definite white Bordeaux vibes. But this wine has tricked me before. For my palate, air helps this, and settles it down, and the food pairing helped as well. Called 2019 Eisele Sauv. Blanc.

July 8, 2023 - Last had a bottle of this almost 3 years ago and this time around is was on another level. Much more expressive with the additional age and showing all of its beauty. If you still have these in your cellar you're in for a real treat. I don't know if Sauvignon Blanc gets any better. 96 or 97, Wow.

May 9, 2023 - What a great sauv blanc. Had at a bar (I drank my case of this wine a long time ago) and the wine was as good (actually better) as when we had in 2019. Taut, zesty, with goosebery and fresh mown grass and mangoes hidden in there. Why buy first growth Bordeaux blanc when you go can get this for a fraction of the price and better quality!

December 15, 2022 - Crisp and tart with a slight metallic finish.

January 26, 2022 - WWC - GA (FWC): Tasted blind - very light color in the glass; nose of strong grapefruit and maybe cat pee. Instantly knew it was a sauv. blanc. On the palate, it had a beautiful soft acidity - no biting - and taste of stone fruit and peach. Tasted better than it smelled in my opinion, and improved with time in the glass and as it warmed. Guessed a sancerre or white bdx.
