May 15, 2021 - True to Chantereves style, this is lightly extracted with a little bit of whole cluster spice. Extremely crushable, a wine to drink and be merry. Raspberry and strawberry, violet, black tea and minerality. Very light tannins, but just enough structure to keep it from being unattractively soft. However the Hautes-Cotes de Beaune of the same vintage I remember as considerably more interesting while at the same time accomplishing the same lightness and drinkability.

July 14, 2020 - The wine seems tired maybe due too poor storage (?). Fruit is dark and shadowed by spices and a light spritz from refermentation is noticeable. Still in balance and enjoyable, “chinato” profile.

June 14, 2020 - Ripe raspberries and strawberries, violets, cloves and medicinal aromatic herbs. High acidity and gripping tannins. Beautiful.

March 30, 2020 - A real gem. Fruit is delicately fresh and elegantly integrated with floreal notes, some tertiary aromas too. Pure and precise. Some gripping tannins suggest that it will keep for a bit longer without issues. Very complex for a Bourgogne.

March 14, 2020 - Another winner from Chantereves. Wonderful nose, beautiful weight in short, delicious.
