March 5, 2022 - Decanted for 2 hours. On the initial taste pre-decant, it was only a little hot, so I knew a 2-3 hour decant would take some of that alcohol out. Sure enough, it became a smooth fruit bomb. Wonderful bottle - consumed with friends in an evening after dinner.

August 30, 2020 - Medium purple
Nose: Macerated blackberry, boysenberry, sweet creme, sandalwood.
Mouth: A velvet pool of creamed boysenberry, blackberry and black cherry gently glides through, as toffee, powdered cinnamon, and nutmeg notes filter out into rooibos tea flavors and threads of garrigue. A light tannic tinge and a dim powdered chalk show together at the very end.
Overall: This gushes a little bit, showing lightly sweet fruit up front, it follows up with a shimmering, delicate midpalate and finish that are seamlessly integrated together. Polished and svelte, with beautifully integrated acid, this is gorgeous and even delicate, (if a little hot from the elevated alcohols). Not hugely structured, but will hold its own in the cellar. 66% Grenache, 33% Syrah. Drink now - 2033.

September 21, 2019 - Dark in color, the wine is smoky, floral, earthy and intense with layers of ripe, spicy red fruits. The texture is soft, refined and you find freshness along with purity in the sweet red berries with their herbal, olive accent. Give it a few years for the tannins to soften and allow things to come together and this should be an even better wine. The wine was made blending 64% Grenache and 28% Syrah with 8% Mourvedre.
