December 13, 2021 - Still had a little life left but not much fruit. Old world nose that I enjoyed, just lacked a nervous system. Cork did break up so there might have been the issue.

June 22, 2020 - A little cloudy; cork broke but no spoilage. Good, not long, dark fruit & oak. Minimal tannins. Nice wine but not outstanding for the price paid.

January 10, 2020 - From a split this wine drank superbly. Unlike what I have had before it starts with charcoal on the nose and aged black fruits, cigar ash, and cherry liquor finish.
No decant... straight up first 15 minutes nose and tasting. Don't think it will hold or improve. -

June 9, 2019 - Very tasty, going brick red now, needs a bit of air first. The first glass needed to sit a bit and by the second it was really showing well. I'm not a huge fan of older wines and this probably was my favorite approach at that 20 year age!

December 10, 2018 - Great nose of aged Cab fruits but a real let down on the palette. Acidic and a little unbalanced. This is more mediocre than powerful so at 19 years I expected more melancholy but got vibrant and unbalanced.
