February 2, 2024 - It is stupid that this wine is this price. It is so so good and classic. But also I paid like 18 bucks for it and at 5 years old it is just barely beginning to be ready to drink, honestly it wants longer HOW LONG DO I HAVE TO CELLAR THIS GODDAM KABINETT CORNELIUS?

September 3, 2023 - It has been about 2 1/2 (1/2/2021) yrs since I last had this and thought it would improve over time. Unfortunately, it hasn't. The acidity is there, but a bit too noticeable; and the fruit is there, but the sweetness seems a bit off. Maybe a bit heavier as well - not the lightness I recall. Just not in balance. I have several more of these and will try another soon to see if this was an off bottle.

August 17, 2023 - Under screwcap and it needed a lot of air. The nose was weird upon opening and did not really improve during an hour or so. On the palate it showed clearly sweet and somewhat one-dimensional. Much better on the third day, when it was finally clean and the palate was better balanced. It stayed on the sweet side, to be sure, but it showed more nuances and a kick from the acidity on the finish.
