March 19, 2022 - Lovely balance between dense dark fruits and spicy mid-palate, leading into a long red plum finish.

November 27, 2019 - The ripe nose offers ripe cherry, raspberry, spiced plum sauce, freshly tanned leather and purple florals. It's medium bodied but coats the palate with vibrant acid and finely grained tannin that together form a good balance and pleasant mouthfeel. The fruit is mostly red and slightly sweet, featuring plum, raspberry and cherry. There are some earthy notes of wet dirt and chai spice that come in on the finish.

June 15, 2019 - Same notes as before. Fun stuff, and it even got some fans at a family party full of beer drinkers.

May 29, 2019 - Some California Samples: Light purple color. Bright nose of cherries, raspberries, plums, with a lot of smoky-herbal notes, leather and violets. Full but suave on the palate with a velvety feel and refreshing acidity. Tangy plums and black cherries mixed with spiced tea, cocoa, earth, violets, clove. Juicy, fun and barbecue-friendly but complex, earthy and vibrant, too. 56% Grenache, 37% Syrah, 7% Tempranillo, aged 10 months in 10% new French oak.

May 14, 2019 - Very nice and drinkable, if a little one-dimensional for a ~$20 wine. Very fruit-punchy, with aromatic, sweet, soft raspberry tones, light florals, and a gentle, clear palate with very low tannin and medium acid. I enjoyed it more on night 1, when the fruit hadn't fully opened up; it left room for a nice mineral note. By day two the fruit was much bigger and juicier, and the cool mineral notes were overpowered.
It's around half grenache, but tastes like 100% grenache to me- no real darkness or spicy quality from the syrah or tempranillo. Still nice and had good intensity of fruit.
