December 11, 2020 - 91% CABERNET SAUVIGNON, 9% CABERNET FRANC from St. Helena. This is super ripe, fruit-forward, dense powerful and juicy and will have many admirers. Notes of black and red cherries, some black currant jam, also some graphite and sweet spices. It's full-bodied, dense and rich, with medium acidity and medium-high tannin that is very good quality. Pretty long finish. There is also a touch of alcoholic warmth. This is a total crowd-pleaser, but I found quite a few wines much more interesting.
