December 24, 2023 - Full, rich taste. The wine lying down for a few years really helps the taste of the wine. The finish is wonderful. Full rich and go on forever. The fruit is not in your face and is soft. I like this wine because of its structure. It is so well balanced and mid to finished palate so well done that I could not think of a better wine for Christmas Eve.

Bouquet of blackberry cherries and violet, clear purple.
sweet cabernet fruit with judicious lift and extraction. I love the slight minty subtle green streak. Lot's of tannins here and structured more like a haut medoc, but distinctively Napa forward style.
This wine is dense yet expansive on the palate with a anise tinged slightly high toned cabernet finish.
