September 18, 2023 - Aromas of dusty bright red cherries, leather, stones, and anise. Medium body, with a great piercing acidity. Loads of bright ripe juicy red cherry, and a great minerality and leathery tannins. Some nice toasty herbs and a bit of charred, baked cherry pie - cloves on the finish as well. Very nice Chianti! Drinking very youthfully. My last of three bottles - it hasn't gotten better, but it's got a long life ahead still. Tough to beat for the price.

April 30, 2023 - My last bottle. This is in a nice spot now, but should continue to hold. The fruit is overripe and kind of boring - lacking a sense of place. But for $15 or so, it's not bad.

January 23, 2023 - Again, slightly improved from my previous bottle in October. Fruit fades pretty quickly, leaving a heavy oak presence and very soft, almost leathery tannins. Maybe just a hint of stewed fruit, but still showing somewhere between primary and secondary characteristics to me. And still only moderate to moderate minus complexity and moderate finish. I’d drink up if you have any left.

October 26, 2022 - Definitely better than my last bottle back in January. Needs a good 2+ hours to fully open up, then has a broad, soft flavor profile. Fruit is starting to fade, oak still noticeable. Not overly burdened with complexity, but for $16 from WTSO it’s a great deal.

October 22, 2022 - Dark garnet. Beautiful aromatics - pine, leather, red cherry, anise. Medium body with a great balanced acidity and moderate leathery tannins. Stewed tomato, roasted herbs, and stones and cherries. Very good! Drinking well right now, and was more accessible upon opened than my last taste.
