March 6, 2023 - A nice reminder after an evening drinking good, not great, young white Burgundy, what those wines aspire to be. Refined, balanced, wonderfully delineated notes of gently ripe fruit, wet stone, mineral depth. Lovely.

February 13, 2023 - 67 Pall Mall post TWS Burgundy Tasting (67 Pall Mall): This was really nice, and a decent value proposition on a restaurant list vs the "big three" white appellations. It did not scale the austere mineral heights of a chiselled Puligny, but it was not that far off either, with a fine balanced nature that combined zippy and full citrus with a slight steely meanness. Excellent.

February 13, 2023 - On the soft side for a 2017, this silky wine provided a lot of pleasure. Fairly full-bodied, with lots of citrus fruit and a stony, juicy midpalate, it generated a sense of luxury that the Macon we drank alongside couldn't manage.

January 3, 2023 - The wine is deep; on the nose, it's punchy and complex with aromas of lime, petrol, grapefruit, lime, minerals, wet stone and a touch of green herbs; vibrant acidity, medium body and medium+ alcohol level, buttery and mouthful finish with medium aftertaste.

Superbe nez de vanille naturelle, et de gâteau blanc,
qui annonce une friandise que l'on oserait toucher.
La bouche est déjà ronde et charmeuse; au fond de miel légèrement beurré.
Arôme de pâte d'amande en rétro.
Riche, et déjà quasi onctueux.
De toute beauté.
Ce sera fameux dans 5 ans et plus, le temps qu'il se complexifie.
Encore une fois, dommage que ce ne soit plus dans nos moyen$.
