    July 30, 2022 - 95% Marsanne/ 5% Roussanne
Initially there was a whiff of turnip, but predominantly the flavours that predominated were stone fruit comprising apricots and apricot kernels. Spicy and silky, having benefitted from a judicious use of oak, the mouthfeel is buttery and oily. Dry, savoury and fleshy, it’s soft and rounded but still lively with a super final flourish on the finish. I don’t think white Rhone is everyone’s cup of tea, but this had a nice balance and showed well. CHP 90pts

April 4, 2022 - Peaches, nuts. Light bodied. Did not blow my dress up. I love this producer so I anticipated more.

July 25, 2021 - Pears, peach minerality and an earthy touch in the nose
Medium acidity, pears, peach and an earthy touch. Medium long aftertaste.

January 14, 2021 - A nice comparison with the steelier, more serious Guigal St Joseph blanc from the same vintage. 95% Marsanne the rest Roussanne. Light gold colour in the glass. This is richer and more expressive straight out of the gate; Fresh pineapple, apricot, honeysuckle, white flowers and blood orange on the attractive nose. This saw some oak during elevage and it comes across nicely in the rich, creamy textured palate along with beautiful acidity and well defined fruit. The finish is surprisingly long and poised - very good.
    Drinking well now.
