May 8, 2023 - Three hour decant, shows up as expected, representing the Saint-Joseph appellation well with both dark fruit and savory tones blended together well.

March 20, 2023 - Still tough and acidic with some tannins in the finish. It would have been a better wine with the softening of (some or more) oak.

(12/18/2020) So hard to evaluate young Syrahs like this. It checks all the right boxes but won't be really accessible in any sort of completeness for some years to come. If you like the flavors of young, unrepentant Syrah, drink it now. If you have patience, put it down or 10 years.

May 12, 2022 - Give this at least a 24hr decant right now. Took 5 days in the fridge to open to some lovely floral, olive, smoke, and dark red fruit. Still tannic; will age nicely. Maintaining a 2024 start to window, maybe longer.

January 19, 2022 - Very solid St Joe with upside. Tannic and tight right now with tart plum and smoke at the core. Drink starting 2024 at earliest.
