    August 11, 2023 - Decanted for 1.5 hours

Dry and silky on the palate

Notes of black cherry and sri lankan cinnamon on the nose with a hint of hay

Notes of black cherry, apple, sri lankan cinnamon and earth on the palate

Goes down smooth however it is a very dry wine (I like very dry wines) very enjoyable wine. I consumed the entire bottle and did not experience any sort of headache the morning after which was a very pleasant surprise since I usually tend to have some sort of headache after consuming an entire bottle.

June 29, 2023 - Didn’t have the body or intensity I was expecting. Maybe it didn’t hold up well after 10 years, or didn’t pair well with part of the dinner. Seemed more like a good Chianti Classico. QPR is very low.

April 21, 2023 - Truffles, red fruits, figs and vanilla on the nose. Earthy. Fresh strawberries. Dry, medium plus tannins. Medium plus acidity. Medium body and intensity.

Classic brunello. Delicious! Drink now to 2033.

April 14, 2023 - The wine looks tawny colored. The legs are medium. There is light sediment in the bottle. It smells like blackberry, plum, apricot, tobacco and light toast. It tastes like tea, honey, plum, pear, apricot and cranberry. The body is medium. The wine has polished texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has medium acidity.

January 28, 2023 - Had this at Novita in NYC. This wine opened up right away with little to no time to open up. Fully transparent with a crimson/brick color. Typical Brunello smell and taste. One of the better brunellos I’ve had. Good balance and clearly old style with the terrior in full focus. Paired with mushroom salad, pasta with black truffle, pasta with lamb/pork sausage. Excellent
