August 7, 2023 - An off year in Montalcino, but bought this on a flyer and glad that I did. Scopetone has always been a solid producer for me. My advice, if you like a producer, buy their wines in any vintage and more times than not, you'll be happy. This had an awesome nose with hints of strawberry and apple with. secondary meat and mushroom notes. Med bodied with an ultra smooth finish. Drink now. Great effort!

July 16, 2022 - Agree with MCROMAIN1021. Elegant, lithe, and fragrant aromas. Beautiful fruit -- not too soft or ripe. A gentle brook of acidity that carries the pure red fruit to a lengthy, inward-smiling finish. Most enjoyable. D/H.

May 29, 2022 - Russk. I brought to CDC at Andrea's. Blind no one thought it was a BdM. Very soft and feminine. Some earth. More the weight of a RdM then a BdM, which I didn't mind. Get one more.

September 11, 2021 - Light and aromatic. Fruit forward--strawberry, raspberry notes. 2014 was not a great year for Brunello, but this was very enjoyable nonetheless. At $40, a decent value. Drink now and over the next 3-5 years.
