January 9, 2024 - Low acidity and easy to drink, but slightly too much tannin for my taste. Focused taste of cherry and blackberry

May 4, 2022 - It was heavily reduced to begin with. Taking on air, florals were unlocked. It had black cherry and smoked meat notes along with some iron and licorice. It was deep and powerful, with excellent concentration for a village wine. It finished with good cut and loads of mineral.

April 30, 2022 - Oak and stem aromatics, bit tight on the palate but should come around. Real change in style.

April 26, 2020 - From 50-100 year old vine, 50% whole-clustered. 2017 seems to be a tipping point vintage for the domaine as the wine is more user-friendly at its youth compared to the more extracted style.

Cassis, cherry, blueberries, mineral, tea and mocha. Palate had crunchy black fruit with excellent density. This stylistic fine-tuning under Loic’s hand is encouraging. As a die-hard fan of the domaine’s wine, I enjoy both the old and new style. For tasters who has dropped the domaine’s name off the radar, 2017 is a vintage that you should not miss. 91-92

January 24, 2020 - Very deep, almost opaque appearance

Focused nose – dark cherry elements, very ripe elderberry, also something herby and sweet. Compact but fragrant, some pretty touches… sense of silkiness.

Full and mouth-filling, broad and very silky – lovely seamless texture. Savoury/mineral undercurrent, great intensity and sapid flashes ahead of a very long (more) savoury finish.
Bright, very impressive, surprisingly expressive and pretty. Oozes class.
