August 31, 2019 - Auction purchase. Sold cork with about 80% bleed. PnP and drank over three hours. This wine was all about the nose--a kaleidoscope of smells that developed through the night--red cherry, sage, turkey stuffing (B.W.), grilled meat, barbecue. The palate was not as inspired. Some elegant red cherry and moderate length, a bit Burgundian, but not a lot of complexity and nothing to write home about. An interesting bottle nonetheless.
