January 9, 2023 - Opened from a full case Purchased at auction in 2019. Decanted for two hours Fully integrated, lots of blackberries and Cassis. Sweet, smoky and delicious. It’s nowhere close to its maximum potential.

This is great Paso GSM. 40 Grenache, 40 Syrah. 20 Movedre.

July 24, 2020 - Still good. Shows how well PS blends can age.

May 22, 2017 - Syrah-dominant GSM. Big, rich wine with spicy tobacco box and cocoa aromas and flavors over powerful black berry and plum fruit. It's mature now, tannins are integrated pretty completely, and some of the primary fruit character has yielded, but it's still nicely structured and definitely a powerful and enjoyable wine.

May 19, 2017 - No decant and I don't think it is required at this point as I enjoyed the opening in a large glass. Good integration and concentration (as expected.) I think it's in a very good drinking phase right now but certainly can age more - just uncertain if it will be better for it.

March 27, 2017 - This is a monumental wine. Maybe one of the best bottles I have ever had from California. Still a huge wine, smooth, well balanced and still bursting with fruit concentration. The age is just starting to smooth out the edges but I wouldn't hesitate to wait another 5-10 years longer
