April 20, 2021 - Very good for the price and I’m sure will be better in 10 years. Initially popped and poured but pretty quickly pulled out the decanter, as this is very tight and young.
Saved half the bottle for day 2 and it was much more drinkable following that 24-hour decant. Nose of crushed rose and chocolate. Even more cocoa on the palate, with some chewy cherry. Though there is no oak, contrary to earlier reviews, I also don’t get much fruit other than the cherry, which to me is secondary to the big cocoa note. While those notes sound deserty, it’s not. Dry and well-balanced. Even on day 2, tannins are still present (they were overbearing on day 1) and give a nice long finish, in which the cherry becomes more dominant.
The improvement from day 1 to day 2 was huge — this tasted pretty backward and loud all over the place out of the bottle — so I would definitely hold at least 5 years if so had more. -

April 13, 2020 - Bought 2 bottles and went back to store to buy another 4 bottles. This a wine with great aging potential, so I want to drink one bottle per year until 2025 and see how it evolutes. Very structured and with mouth volume. Dark berries and plums show immediately. Fantastic for the price paid.

August 4, 2019 - Greatest discovery of the year. Wish I had bought a case. The concrete really gives this an edge.

April 18, 2019 - One of the top QPR wines of the past few years, until the importer in San Fran jacked up the price from $25 to $41. No oak, only steel and concrete. Good aging potential, pure fruit, and balanced despite the 15% alcohol. All in all, a very well-made wine. Best on day three. Will keep my last bottle in the cellar for a few years.

February 21, 2019 - Opaque black with a half inch pour, followed by pleasant aromas of black cherry, black plum, and blackberry, all of which occurred again in the sip and swallow. For so young a wine, very smooth, well integrated, and pleasantly enjoyable from front to swallow, with nothing harsh, sour, sugary, heavy, or backward. Well concentrated and fully drinkable young and older.
