June 25, 2022 - A nice wine, but not memorable. It was a bit hot and blowsy on opening, but it settled down after about an hour in the glass. The tannins are a bit lacking. It’s nice for what it is, but I wouldn’t buy it again.

November 1, 2021 - Recent bottles exhibited more tar, less fruit. Decanted 90 minutes. Tannins dry out the finish. Not unbalanced, but not sophisticated.

June 8, 2021 - A lot perfume upon opening. We allowed to breath for about an hour before pouring. Tremendous fruit on the nose and notes of strawberry, currant. Medium plus acidity and tannins. The wine began to show more fruit after another hour to breath and was much smoother. Paired very well with a neopolitan style pizza with Italian sausage. Good QPR and straightforward, young Nebbiolo.

April 9, 2021 - Decanted for two hours. Muted nose, hints of black cherry and earth. On the palate, fruits are subdued with notes of cherry, blueberry and mushrooms. More tannic than previous vintages. Need food to balance. Medium acidity. Pleasant and good value but maybe better in a year of two.

March 31, 2021 - Fantastically smooth. Not as full bodied as expected, and already very smooth tannins. Will she well—still has a lot of fruitiness, especially currant and strawberry.
