  May 21, 2020 - Dark fruit. Plums and dark cherries. Too much alcohol though, which masks a lot of the fruit. Oaky vanilla and brown sugar notes as well. Sweet dark fruit on the palate, mainly juicy plum. Also some molasses-like expressions. Again, too much alcohol which is a pity. Great, not fantastic.

  April 16, 2020 - Deep ruby in color. Rubber, plum, black cherry, molasses, and oak on the nose. Rubber, pepper, dark fruit, and molasses on the palate. Smooth tannins and mild acidity, the mouthfeel is underwhelming. Rubbery, bitter, and hot finish whose only redeeming quality is a hint of vanilla and molasses at the very tail end.
