January 13, 2021 - Nose is a bit closed but you know it’s going to be a big wine as you can detect hints of grilled meat and very dark fruit. On the palate it’s what you’d expect with deep and rich red fruit and a stern backbone of acidity. There’s a tightness to these two competing palate sensations that keeps the wine from being totally enjoyable but it still has a lot of good qualities. Overall, good QPR at under $20 but you dont need to rush out and get it by the case😜
