March 29, 2017 - At first this was bad- acidic and harsh. Felt flawed bottle. But it opened up and it's ok but not a lot of flavor poking out from the still solid tannin and acid.

September 18, 2010 - Very nice - showing a nice brick colour on the rim. Fragrant, intense nose of red and dried cherries, with notes of tar. Still quite fresh, with strong tannins and very racy acidity, nice strong cherry and plum fruit, long finish. Lovely, typical Nebbiolo. Drinking about peak.

April 9, 2008 - Small Vineyards Tasting: Hmmm... there already seems to be an '04 released on this... Thought we were drinking current releases. Maroon in color. Gorgeous nose. Classic Nebbiolo. Fuller then expected on the palate. Med. bodied, still very tannic. Very good, but not very excited at the price of this. 89-90
