  September 28, 2023 - PnP but some sediment so a quick decant may be best. The color was a medium to dark violet. Dark red fruits and some forest floor on the nose. The medium bodied palate showed these dark red fruits (black cherry, blackberry, pomegranate), lots of spice, zesty acidity and just a touch of drying tannins on the finish. Should continue to hold.

  December 3, 2019 - Nero is Martha’s grape. She spent her training at Cos and became one of the only, if the only, winemaker spotlighting the grape this side of the ocean.
  
  It’s raw, seriously structured, and intensely tart. Mountain forest berries and a camp fire. Pine, mint, menthol, and cedar - Mezcal smoke circling above. Vibrant acid and tannin and ripe for food. Very good.

  March 16, 2019 - I usually get turned off by the descriptor 'jammy'. Makes me think of way too sweet, high alcohol zinfandel. But, after little bit of a funky nose to start, this is pure, delicious, jammy fruit. Yet this clocks in at 13% and has a ton of acidity to make it perfectly balanced. Love it, can't wait to explore more wines from MS.
