  May 20, 2022 - Interesting no notes on this wine for the last decade. Drinking beautifully at 24 years of age and still legs to go further. Wonderful stuff - given a case by my mother in law. Full bodied, savoury, still plenty of fruit but definitely ready!

  November 5, 2012 - Monday Wine Club (BYOB at Hawksmoor) (Hawksmoor Air Street): Classic claret, drinking window optimal now and should remain for a couple years. Not much else to report other than solid Bordeaux typicity. Good. Top 3 wine in the line-up.

  April 2, 2010 - Cork. Decanted for 2 hrs - took a while to carefully decant because quite a heavy sediment had formed in the bottle. Vibrantly ruby claret hue, no signs of age in the glass. Bouquet was sweetly fruity, cedar, nicely integrated. Silky mouth feel and tasty fruit, followed by beginnings of some tertiary notes on the palate, including soft leather and pine box. This wine is drinking superbly right now and no doubt will continue to do so for some time to come.
