Tasted out of barrel today: blended in the thief from two separate barrels (different amounts of oak). On the nose, amazing intensity with a touch of nut oil, then pure lemon and skin. Dense on the palate, but excellent acidity. Fantastic dark mouthfeel. A very nice batard.
