May 29, 2023 - The color was a deep copper/gold hue, much darker than I had expected. Bubbles were still there and it remained plenty effervescent throughout the course of two days. Baked red apples, a hint of marzipan and honey. Nice acidity. Not a lot of depth. Good, but not great.

April 25, 2020 - Mature and showing great depth. Nose was preserved orange and spice. Tastes were cooked peaches, ginger, dried apricots. Slight burnt-sugar sweetness. Medium rich mouthfeel and good acidity to balance.

August 22, 2018 - Sushi and sparkling. Nicely fine and concentrated bubbles. Wet stones, pear, peach. Touch of minerality mid-palette and finishes with a hint of residual sugar, which is really nice with the sushi. It’s a good bottle of Schrams; probably my favorite. Though, as is typical of them, the QPR isn’t there.

January 5, 2018 - Decent. Crisp and mineral driven with some citrus and a little toast

August 2, 2017 - Darker gold than the Blanc de Blanc. Earthy, brioche, and pear notes. Tastes more of the same with hints of caramel. Crisp and smooth on the palate with a short clean finish.
