Community Tasting Notes 2

February 24, 2021 - New Zealand Wine Tasting - Bring NZ to Singapore (Praelum Wine Bistro): Pale lemon and starbright. Strong toasty nose with overripe mango and starfruit. Creamy texture, some mouthwatering acids, alcohol heat, with briny flavours and some hint of ripe starfruit, and nutmeg. Medium length and somewhat simplistic finish

February 22, 2021 - Medium golden in the glass. Very reductive on the nose. Fruit needs a long time to come out. This continues on the palate with the acidity being somewhat sharp and out of sync with the slightly green (unripe) fruit. Some weird charred wood comes out on the finish. Not a well-made Chardonnay, don't see it getting better with age.
