June 8, 2023 - Black pepper, gamely meat, little funk, on the enticing nose
Dark framboise, deep cherry , tannin acidic wrapped finish..
    Really delish
Will cork half bottle till next day ..

    April 26, 2023 - Delish as usual
Black pepper pronounced on the nose…

November 21, 2022 - This wine is murky in the glass--it almost looks like prune juice--with a rustic country nose--think earthy foliage. Very mellow dark fruit on the tip of the tongue, but when it reaches the edges of the rear tongue there is an explosion of tart acidity. This has the effect of seriously stimulating my salivary glands into hyperdrive. Terrific. I have to say that there is a significant level of drying tannin. I really liked this wine.

    November 11, 2022 - Borderline corked…
    Cork had the taint….
Wine covered it a bit…. Will store a day or so what happens

March 11, 2021 - This smells like a Syrah in all its meaty glory, and on the palate there is certainly meat - I’m thinking lamb sausage...but then this fades and the deeper notes of stewed strawberry and black cherry take hold for a very long finish. Excellent. 94
