No creo que haya sido un acierto poner este BdB como aperitivo porque su fermentación en barril de la mitad del vino permaneciendo 40 meses con sus propias lías concede un tremendo volumen que necesita de comida muy sólida. Se queda un poco corto de acidez. Final seco. En nariz tiene un agradable carácter de bizcochos y de notas lácticas procedentes de la madera. Ausencia total de cítricos. Nada extraordinario por comparación con el último champaña Lonclas de esta misma añada.
