December 7, 2023 - From super old vines, Bedrock is showing nice freshness and structure, even in this warmer year. Notes of black cherries, dark plum, also some sweet and savory spices, pepper, leather, some smoke, but also herbal/menthol kind of notes. There arw also some flowery notes. It‘s full-bodied, pretty rich and deep, but not over the top with beautiful balance. There is nice medium+ acidity and medium-high tannin. Excellent length A very nice, deep and complex wine,. While still young, there is no shame in trying a bottle. This will become even more complete with a few more years in bottle. (94+)

May 29, 2023 - Crimson in color. 14.6% ABV. Gorgeous nose of red fruits, peach and anise. Medium body with mouth watering acidity. Charming Zinfandel with a sense of restraint. Perfect balance. Cherry, raspberry, blood orange and pepper on the palate. Really nice length on the finish. Absolutely delicious Zinfandel. Very approachable now but I’m sure this will age well. Best over the next 2-4 years.

March 14, 2023 - During a merchant tasting, not detailed notes. Succulent, well made, can hide its alcohol level well. A crowd pleaser

December 1, 2022 - Moderate levels of dark fruit on the tongue, Dark fruit is not at all unusual for Bedrock Vineyard Zins. Moderate levels of acid and tannin, Mid-length finish. Looking back at my comments, and recalling the wine from last night this is a very restrained Zinfandel.

February 24, 2021 - Dense garnet coloring, nose providing red fruit, herbaceous notes, potpourri, strawberry & raspberry jam.

Later the nose got a bit sweeter, bringing to mind a raspberry chocolate cake.

Never sweet on the palate, but a hint of licorice. Tannins are noticeably there, but are in no way distracting or displaying any over exuberance in their youth

This is a treat and still improving, will check back in 3 years.
