December 4, 2022 - Some effervescence, medium straw in color.

Aromatics reminiscent of bruised apple and singed citrus zest, honey and cold mountain air. On the palate the wine is juicy and lean with a saline finish. Delicious and well-priced.

September 28, 2022 - Fuller body than expected, I used a big Burgundy glass, and it sits comfortably there. Nice, rounded mouth feel, good balance between that minerality and the opulence of the fruit. I've got a feeling it is just getting in a good spot for drinking, as the winery suggest 'best from 22-2033'. and will improve with some aging.
    Waitrose - £17,99 to £13,49 - I see now the price is up to £22 which is a bit harsh. Chardonnay/Auxerrois 70/30; R.s. :3.1 g/l ;33 hl/ha; vines age:28 years

May 1, 2022 - Concentrated, flavourful wine at the beginning of its drinkability window. Citrus nose meets lime & gooseberry palate. Steely in a very pleasing way. Very tasty if not (yet) very complex. Will be yet better in 2 years (93 ?) and hold at least untill 2026. This is from an underrated vintage. Reasonable pricing.
Very universal concerning food matching, from all kinds of fish to veal. Fine as Apéro, too.

March 26, 2022 - Still very young. Fresh, opulent but dry. I find these multi varietal Alsace wines confusing. It falls between a Pinot Gris and Gewürztraminer in style but isn’t like either. Not really for me.

March 14, 2021 - Russk. I brought to CDC at SNM. 3 grams of residual sugar. Lower alcohol. A blend of Chardonnay and set other weird thing with an A and an X. Slight Carbonic and slight residual sugar. Blind, it presented like a cold climate Chardonnay. Interesting oh, but I don't need more.
