February 25, 2024 - Riesling bash at CHIKO (Chevy Chase, Maryland): Ripe and plush, honey and almonds, but bright with all sorts of floral tones, sugar cane, orange peel. Maybe my palate was overwhelmed, but if I had some of these, I'd forget about them for three to six maybe? But lovely stuff with a lot of potential.

February 25, 2024 - Seemed to be in a somewhat dumb phase.

December 17, 2023 - Magnificent nose, spicy, with fine terpene notes and citrus peel. Broad palate with a presence of gas, a delicate acidic structure, and a somewhat austere finish with hints of quinine. Rated 93.

Nez magnifique, épicé, fine note terpénique, écorces d’agrume. Bouche ample avec présence de gaz, fine trame acide, finale un peu austère, sur le quinquina. 93

November 6, 2023 - Still young. Decanted and served with roast chicken.

September 11, 2021 - Mid straw colour with hints of gold. This was served very cold in a restaurant so didn't show much to begin with but as it warmed up I was struck by how much it had in common with Pinot Gris Clos Windsbuhls I've had before - loads of cinder toffee and biscuits along with ripe peach and smoke. Good body. Dry. A serious wine.
