6 years on from the vintage and this seems really 'tight'. Not giving any of the exhuberant pleasure it dd on release.
Not sure this is much better from the basic cuvee to be honest, which is also lovely on release. Really drying tannins on the finish. Hard to love at the moment.
The merchant and Parker notes suggest it's ideal around the 7 yr mark. Hard to believe on the evidence of this bottle.
If you have any of this you should hold off drinking for a few years.
