Community Tasting Notes 2

  • julen789 Does not like this wine:

April 16, 2020 - Obviously very recent disgorgement.
Sour, big bubbles, not-integrated dosage, not interesting in general. I had some memorable bottles of this cuvée but I will never understand why they don't mark the disgorgement date on the label (as they do with all their cuvées except this one and Clos Cazals), it's just so frustrating for the consumer to open a bottle and not even be able to enjoy it.

September 3, 2019 - Complex expressive beautiful nose of mineral, fruit, and yeasty notes, chalky-clay aspect, tuna oil, saline, DP-like notes, med body, ethereal, but kind a bit of a shorter finish than the Clos Cazals. Easy 93 if the finish was there. Younger vines from the Clos Cazals. At the estate with Delphine Cazals
