May 1, 2024 - NobleRottersSydney - Sangiovese & Tempranillo (Glass Brasserie, Sydney): {cork, 14.5%} [DavidM] In the tradition of the late Bruce, a wine not on theme but somewhere in between. But really good nonetheless. Violets and roses with a vanilla sheen. Some development apparent. Pungent, pumped up palate. Medium weight and acidity – ticks all the medium boxes really. Way better with food, but I think this is still on the upslope of development.

November 17, 2023 - Friday Double Blind Tasting $60+ (Bin 75 Alpharetta, GA): Pretty see through crimson with orange rim; cherry, roses, orange, menthol, herbs, beautiful and elegant, so refined and sensual; called 2017 Scavino Ravera.

July 17, 2023 - PnP with the folks for a summer dinner of flank steak and pasta with zucchini. Frankly, this went down way too fast and way too easy! Dad, who is generally not a fan of I tai wines, liked this immensely . Smooth, good depth and enough acid to cut the fatty steak. I’ll take it slower next time to get a fuller picture , it yes— a wine I am glad to have.

December 17, 2022 - Keep - too early. Great potential!

August 5, 2020 - First Wednesday Wine Club (Napoli in Bocca, Haberfield): Served blind.
Red over black fruit, a little funky underpin, touches of rhubarb on the nose. Tight, chalky textured tannins dominate proceedings on the palate with slightly more controlled acidity, a little dried orange peel. The palate tells me all - it's preposterously young, tight but also good quality.
    I guessed Barolo 2016
