February 20, 2021 - Upon first opening, this seemed a bit flat and like it needed some air. Acidity wasn't really there, especially when compared to the 2016 I drank a few weeks back which was in a really good place. Decanted for ~2h, but even then, the wine didn't seem like it wanted to give much at this time. Some stone fruit and white flowers and you could taste a bit of richness from the elevage, but nothing really detailed. This may be in a bit of a shut down phase right now and could probably benefit from some time in bottle. Will revisit another bottle in a few years. The 2016 in comparison seems to be in a much better place right now and I'll be drinking those

February 13, 2021 - This was really a hit with the tuna melt at Wine and Roses in Lodi two nights ago and still beautiful last night with the gumbo special from Dundee Bistro. Nice balance of crisp minerality and richness. I agree with another taster about how this would be fun to compare with the Goodfellow Durant Chard as both are awesome.

February 12, 2021 - Just picked up a couple more bottles of both this and the '18, and this is as good today as it was when I tried it last year. Chardonnay in a crisp, minerally style, so if you are seeking buttery notes, this is probably not for you. At least IMO, and although I'm not doing it today, these are fun to try side-by-side with the Durant made by Marcus Goodfellow.

February 3, 2021 - Similar to previous notes, a solid Chardonnay which is drinking wonderfully now, no need to age
