Community Tasting Notes 2

May 11, 2019 - Nose - slightly oxidative a la sherry or Jura. Raw almond
Mouth - slightly oxidized and not at all unpleasant but I do not really ever recall Albariño made in this style. Perhaps a serendipitous find, though I suspect what I am tasting was not the winemakers intent

May 9, 2019 - My first Albarino from Soutomaior subregion!
    Dark straw color - crystalline
Medium plus aromas of lemon/ zest with chalky minerality
Beautiful palate with lemon/ salinity and great minerality - really echoes the nose
HIGH acidity - even for an Albarino - I mean really
Great length with characteristic phenolic bitterness
    Intense but beautiful Albarino
Points off for the acidity - My tongue was sore after two glasses
