April 23, 2023 - I accumulated under $16 and this is a go-to- I drink it often between more expensive bottles. Can PnP. Smooth, consistent. Excellent mouth feel. Would buy more if I could find, to $25 on value + loyalty.

April 7, 2023 - Garnett bowl to rim. Blackberries, plums, some oak and spice on the nose. Palate is cooked blackberries, dried tobacco leaves, dark chocolate shavings. Medium plus acidity, medium alcohol.

March 18, 2023 - This was exceptional.
The bouquet on the wine instantly hinted at the depth, complexity and quality of this wine. The kind of red I love. Stewed blackberries, rich plum, dried apricots, possibly figs and somewhat reminiscent of a sweet shop! Very subtle hints of oaky vanilla as well. This triggered the memory of other excellent wines enjoyed over equally excellent meals. The nose is decadent, warming and rich.
On the palate it delights. Polished tannins, velvety full bodied mouthfeel with rich, warming blackberry, tobacco leaf, stewed fruits. Complex and really a joy to drink.
Best red, possibly ever (yet!). -

January 8, 2023 - Served from magnum with rib roast on Christmas Day, when it earned 92 points. Finished the bottle two days later with risotto made from the rib roast bones. It rated 94 on this occasion.
