February 29, 2020 - One of a very few CDP producers I still enjoy. That said, tonight's btl was less impressive than my last in 2014. I decanted for 2 hours and back into the btl at home purely for pouring convenience. Semi opaque ruby red with plenty of mature amber shades to the red. Tonights's btl exhibited some floral aromas mixed with garrigue. The palate was not as structurally resolved as I'd expect and prefer at 15 yrs and a decant. A little rough on the backend. Plenty of classic CDP character with dark fruit, mineral, herbs de provence and licorice. All that together, you have a really good CDP experience but not transcendent as hoped for at that age. Perhaps in a awkward phase or maybe just past peak? I have one more. 14% alc.

January 27, 2020 - Dark red. Jammy and roasted, not as much as the 07 but this one also had a sweet roasted taste and finish.

January 19, 2020 - So much ripeness and oak here that after the 90, 95 and 01 it doesn't taste like a Donjon. First vintage for consultant Philippe Cambie, I'm told.

January 5, 2020 - Elegant nose with ripe blackberries and cherries, ceddar and spicy notes. Evolving gently on the glass, full bodied and rounded, the wine is at its peak. I gave it 94/100 and a deserved 5 star score. #3 in the 2007 WS Top 100.
