March 6, 2018 - I'd say this is past prime—although this was my only one, the faded fruit and aged characteristics suggest as much. Dense coloring still with ruby to garnet edges. Aromas of black and dark red fruits, earth, dried meat, green pepper, dry leaves, eucalyptus, and root vegetables. Medium to medium(+) body, medium acidity and finish, and flavors of dark fruits, spice, lemon, and mineral. More interesting aromatically than flavor-wise, but enjoyable enough with Hungarian pasta w/ chicken meatballs tonight.

December 25, 2017 - Time to drink. Balanced, but fruit is missing a bit. Does still open up decently. Some dark fruit. Decent nose and reasonable finish

November 24, 2017 - Well integrated anddoesn't take as much to open up. Still similar to my 4/5/17 review. Finish is smoother and long now, delightful

April 5, 2017 - Nice, coming to maturity, but not overdue yet. Still takes about 30 min or so to open up. Nose presents with earthiness, berries, and some muskiness that might be leaves or some such. Nice nose overall.
Cherry, with cedar and blackcurrant. Decently integrated and good color and legs. Finish is medium to long without being too strong, albeit some tannins and a slight wetness that lingers. Very nice.

May 16, 2015 - Spice, licorice , dark fruits in the aroma. Distinctly lighter red fruit flavors in the mouth is a pleasing contrast. Finish is nicely balanced.
