Community Tasting Notes 6

January 5, 2013 - this was not on par with previous bottle. nose of peach, cream, hazelnut, but also cardboard. good structure in the mouth, with mineral finish but tastes a bit too old. dead on day 2.

February 11, 2012 - white gold, still youthful hue.
apple, hazelnut, struck matches and lanolin on the nose
opulent mouth, very creamy, with lemon, apple and a mineral finish. great wine and still going strong.

April 12, 2010 - A gorgeous nose. Golden fruit and an element of truffle that indicates aged White Burg.
The palate shows quite a bit of acid but it is buffered by gorgeous fruit. The finish is loaded with minerals.

October 8, 2006 - Light golden yellow. Complex nose of apple skin, mineral, mustard seed, dark toast, lemon ...middle aged. Viscous, liquid stone, rich acidity, sea salt .... really long. A somewhat hard rustic wine with more power than finesse. Nevertheless, nice wine.
