May 31, 2020 - Not very complex as a wine, but deliciously drinkable. Definitely chill.

May 26, 2019 - Drank from a Zalto Universal. Purchased this bottle at Psychic Wines after a nudge from Kimberly.

My first experience with the Nero di Troia grape. This wine had a beautiful nose of fresh earth, dark cherries, cranberries, and wet stones. It was such an easy drinker: medium bodied, nice acidity, distinct but non-overbearing tannins, and the smooth body expected at 11% alcohol.

I would venture to say that this can be aged and doesn't need to be drunk young, but I would think most people prefer this wine young. Also, serve it chilled. This isn't really a wine of analysis, but one of more immediate pleasure.
