September 13, 2022 - Still vibrant and delicious. It does gain a little weight with air overall really good. Drink up.

March 29, 2020 - Easy to drink, and easy to like. Red fruit, spice, warm dirt, leather and a touch of green herb, all in a single mouthful of wine. Low tannin, and very drinkable.

November 19, 2019 - After all the kudos I've read, and certainly because of them, I expected more from my first bottle of Enfield wine. Blind, I'd have never guessed the grape; it had lighter body than expected based on the same grape from Spain and Washington state where it's gaining popularity, and it lacked the complex spice I've experienced in both. Fruit faded over two hours; this doesn't have a future.

November 17, 2019 - Hard to believe this is an <$30 bottle of wine. Medium body but with dark red, juicy fruit. Delicious.

    March 25, 2019 - Fantastic wine.
Coming from California this really surprised me.
I found this in a boutique shop in Napa where I met the som at a Masters of Wine event. I told him what I sought and this was one of the bottles I bought.
    Absolutely real wine.
Massively floral bouquet and tasted of liquid flowers.
Lots of cherry, raspberry, with mushroom notes.

This tasted more Italian provincial than anything from California.
Winemaker John Lockwood had an intriguing beginning at Littorai, Argentina and Failla.

I would love to taste through all of his wines, especially his Syrah.
