January 20, 2024 - Sadly, this was corked. All the previous bottles were amazing, so I guess I’ll call it even.

December 30, 2023 - Drinking perfectly right now! Intense, rich nose layered with blue and black berries, dried herbs and some meaty notes. Rich, opulent palate that just keeps on giving! Kudos!

As a side note: The older I get the more sensitive I become to overripness and heat. That said the alcohol is surprisingly well integrated in this wine, but I would avoid drinking it too warm 68F/20C max, to avoid getting some heat from the alcohol.

December 20, 2022 - Glass-staining, rich, intense and impeccably balanced. Silky smooth, blackberry liqueur, blueberries, fresh rose petals, with a hint of rosemary in the background. This improved over several hours. I liked it on its own but I loved it with roast lamb. Not for the faint of heart, this was thoroughly hedonistic. Can cruise for another 5 years or so, IMO

December 25, 2021 - Decant for 3+ hours, back in the bottle brought to a restaurant. Intial nose on opening is a ton of berries, 1 oz pour of the bottle broght heavy syrup and fruit, very interated as far as tannin or wood but very thivk and sweet. 4 hours later hd completely calmed don and he fruit had balnced, slight cough syrup but that came off over the next hour. paired well with mediterarian seasoned meats. It was little too easy to drink and i wish it had lasted loger. Drink or hold but be prepared to give it time if drinking
