July 16, 2022 - Initially ungiving, this needed an hour or so to start opening up. Like membrillo in a glass, with notes of quince, lemon zest, and vanilla commingling, supported by just enough acidity to keep it feeling fresh. Hints of cut flowers and almond weave in late.

May 13, 2022 - This is a fabulous CNDP blanc from the Guigal team in their full debut year at Nalys. Medium gold as it sits in the glass. White flowers, mango, apricot, peach, orange blossom, mint, honey and creamy vanilla waft up on the seductive nose. The palate is broad and richly textured but quite restrained and serious with lots of salty saline and chalky notes along with baked apple, quince, spice and roasted pineapple. It finishes long and crisp with impeccable balance. Now coming into its prime window this will drink well for at least another 5 years. An estate to follow.

Wonderful complexity on the palate. This will truly blossom into something special in time. Oak is still there but receding. Floral palate with nuanced spice box. Has an almond/hazelnut note on the palate.
Pairs wonderfully peanut butter and apple slice for dessert. More neck and neck than complimentary. Creates two ghosts of a pairing. -
