March 19, 2024 - Dark ruby in color with a short reddish rim.

Fruity nose of chocolates, coffee, black fruits, cedar and spices.

Dry on the palate with black currants, plums, blackberries, cedar, leather, light vanilla, spices, dark chocolates, coffee, black pepper and herbs.

Pretty finish with fine grained tannins and cherries.

This 12 year old Cabernet Sauvignon is drinking beautifully. Rich, yet elegant and delicious now.

Entertaining and easy drinking right out of the bottle, and better after 30 minutes of airtime.

I had it 3 years ago and it is so much better now. At its peak and will continue to drink nicely in the next few years.

A Gorgeous wine with nice complexity and a soft mouthfeel.

Good by itself or with food.

100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes are grown at 2,400 feet of elevation.

    14.5% alcohol by volume.

    93 points.

    $75.

June 21, 2022 - Excellent value!; decanted away a little funk and tightness mid-palate: balanced but more complex than most in its price range; good tannins but not overpowering. highly recommend

January 7, 2022 - Very pleasant drink. Poured into glasses for about an hour before drinking with steak, and sipped the balance after. Ready to drink. Didn't feel the alcohol - nicely balanced.

April 19, 2021 - This is a delicious Cabernet Sauvignon from Mendocino County.

Showing red and black fruits with wood, spices, peppercorn, chocolates, earth, leather, bell pepper, tobacco, light vegetables, violets and light forest floor.

Medium plus in body with medium acidity and long legs.

Dry on the palate and fruit forward, with a touch of earth notes. Interesting and spicy. Nicely balanced and elegant. Showing a lovely nose at this point.

Feels like a Right Bank Bordeaux, actually.

This 9 year old is drinking very nicely now and will be good in the next few years. Showing nice complexity and mouthfeel.

Needed an hour to open up properly, and we enjoyed it for the next 5 hours.

Very tasty and enjoyable by itself or with food. I paired it with a charcuterie board of meats and cheeses.

    14.5% alcohol by volume.

    92 points.

    $65.

Fruity nose with blueberries, black plums, black cherries, raspberries, earth, light oak, licorice, spices, light herbs, black pepper and pencil lead.

Full bodied and elegant, with medium-plus acidity and long legs.

Dry on the palate with blueberries, plums, red currants, oak, tobacco, earth, cherries, spices, peppercorn and coffee.

Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.

This 9 year old is drinking very nicely now, and will continue to drink nicely in the next 3 to 5 years.

Good right out of the bottle, and better with airtime. I gave it a couple of hours in the decanter to open up properly.

Very enjoyable by itself, as a sipping wine by the porch.

Feels like a fruit forward right bank Bordeaux. Tangy and spicy. Rich and elegant.

I paired it with a Charcuterie board of meats and cheeses.
