  April 2, 2022 - This is a red wine from the Aglianico grape an ubiquitous grape in Campania. The producer is Masseria Frattasai from Montesarchio; vi visstited ghis winery in the summer 2018. The wine is a dark ruby with purple highlights there is some aging in the bottlw as we tasted in spring 2022. The viscosity is medium 14% abv. The nose is truly intriguing with notes of black berries , glove but after 5 years the secondary and tertiary notes of cedar wood, spices and tobacco take over. The palate shows a wine with a full body perfectly balanced acidity velvety tannins and a long persistence. In summary a very good value wine from an excellent producer. It can be paired with any meat dish we did it with risotto and sausages. PM 91

  September 4, 2019 - EEE September 2019; Aglianico (@ MvGr): Cherries and red and dark berries in the bouquet. Herbs and spices as well as lactic impressions. On the palate juicy red berries, some tobacco and leather, firm acidity and tannin, also a touch of sweetness.
