January 25, 2020 - We had this rose first, then Chateau Vivonne second - nearly identical and nobody commented on the transition. (This was after a wine touring day that included 3 other roses, so taste buds may have been fatigued?!)
To the nose, slight strawberry, raspberry, cherry and melon. On the palate, same fruit. Crisp with good acidity, minerality and salinity in harmony and complementing the fruit. A nice, moderate mouthfeel with moderate length for a rose. Note as dry as classic provence, but less fruit than typical Tavel- or Rioja-rose. Excellent QPR. -
